More of Wyoming! (see previous post)

More pics of the past week...
Casey hung out with us and shared his Wyoming Cowboys hat with Cortni. She looks very cute with a hat! Also, she is always good to hang on the bed with Grandma =) Comfy, cozy and all is well...

Wyoming!

I spent the last week or so in Wyoming with my family...YAY! It was wonderful =) Cortni participated in Special Olympics. She completed the 25 meter assisted walk and won the gold metal. Such a wonderful & perfect kid. I just love her!

LOVE These Guys!

Went to this concert last week. Loved every song! The new album coming out May 20 has some kickin songs..."Not My Time" is breaking radio station records pre-release and another song from this self titled CD..."Let Me Be Myself" is gonna be my new favorite song.

Back In The Day

Had to post a few pics from back in the mid 80's...too funny!

Quote (sorry for the language but I love this one!)

Matchbox 20 and Alanis Morissette Concert

Kim and I went to the Matchbox 20 and Alanis Morissette concert last month and had a great time. Both acts sounded great and we got to sing along to songs that were some of my all time faves!
Matchbox 20...yep...thats my Rob Thomas singing there in the middle. LOVE HIM!

Work...or is it more play?

With Michelle now working at Hoppers the days are much more fun and we get into far too much trouble! Kidding. We do have fun, though =)
We know we are pretty cute...

Michelle might just know it a little more than me. If that's possible.

Coral drinking her Jamba Juice out of sight for the customers.

My buddies Sean, Dallas, manager Scotty and regular Dean. This is working?

I am well known as being the salad bar nazi. Manager Alex thinks its funny to make a giant mess, take a photo then leave it for me to clean up. When I spend a week each month in Wyoming the salad bar goes to hell and it takes me freakin' forever to get it back to my standards. In this picture I am not happy.

Wyoming...where the heart is

Visiting family and friends in Wyoming is the BEST! I am so struggling with the decision to move permanently up there or stick to the commuting thing. I have good parts of life in both places. Bottom line is I miss my baby and want to see her more.

She is perfect. Period.

If I take the shuttle to Jackson from SLC I stay with my lifelong friend, Chris. She lives right in Jackson and I have to catch the shuttle at 6:30 am. It makes for not quite such an early morning for my family and no dark Snake River Canyon drive!

Cortni is my cuddle buddy.

It's not easy to get a good pic of Cort if she's not in the mood. Which would be pretty much always.
Yeah. See above caption. =)

Liquid Joe's

A couple of weeks ago a bunch of the Hoppers gang met at Liquid Joe's to listen to our manager, Garrett's (The Hue) band. It was a rockin' good time! I don't make a habit of going out to clubs and such. Not my scene. No drinking. Past my bedtime. Wild, drunk, annoying people everywhere. You get my point. Anyway, this was a good time for the 30 minutes that I stayed, we had tons o' fun... Garrett playing. I cut out all the other band members. Sorry!

Jennica was feeling pretty good at this point. She was entertaining =)

Michelle and I. Shall I tell you how many people think we are sisters? Of course, they think I am the younger sis. Right.

Jennica and I looking over the evenings pictures. Garrett is done with his set and coming over to make trouble.

Hi my Devin. You're cute =)

Bon Voyage!

Mom and Robert are on a cruise all over the Bahamas right now. Last Friday Michelle, Hailee and I went to their motel by the the airport to have dinner, spend some time and say goodbye until next Sunday. Mom had a spray tan professionally done before leaving Wyo...I have never seen her so brown!

Hangin' in the motel with the fam. Wow...I look pregnant. Rest assured. I am not.
My cute girls =)

Snow Day!

So this post is a little late...
Sometime the end of last January, Kim and I had a fun day of no work with just shopping and eating out. It was so much fun but the weather was TERRIBLE...really, I mean bad! I can't remember how long it took us to get from downtown to Midvale, but it was many times longer than it should have. All in all though, it was a great time!

Eating lunch at Elizabeth's Bakery and Tea Shop across from Trolley Square. Fabulous!
The cocoa was suppose to be the best around, but I didn't sample it. Kim said it was good =)
Far too many choices at the Bakery and Tea Shop!
One of Kim's favorite places on the planet, World Market. (I kinda like it, too.)
Yes my Kimmie, the roads and the weather were both horrendous!

Good Times...

Here are some random pics taken over the past few weeks of some fun times with Casey, Michelle (They call each other husband and wife. I think it's more like brother and sister...maybe something in between!), and others...
Casey and Michelle on the way to the concert...can't remember which one...I wasn't there so it's not Three Doors Down...dunno...

Casey and Mandy Brough...she's cute!
Hangin' at Hoppers with Casey...his usual hangout at around 1 or 2 in the afternoon. (The food is cheap for the employees kid!)
With one of our new employees...you may recognize her...Michelle!

Quilting!

We have two women at Hoppers that are preggo and having baby showers. I decided since most shower gifts are a drag and you can only have so many onesies and size 0-6 month cute stuff that the kid actually wears once before growning out of it that we should make quilts. Okay, so A quilt. We bought the stuff for one more, but only finished one. It turned out really cute, though. New to be mom and dad loved it. BTW...it's for baby Noah Hennessey that is due any minute now! It was totally worth going to the shower and playing all the silly shower games and talking to all the people you don't know or will never see again. Michelle and I made the quilt...Laurie and her boyfriend were in the other room watching a hockey game on tv. Since she chipped in on the cost of the quilt and signed her name to the card, we included her in the "final product" picture. Kind of us, I know.
Oh, and the nursery is done in a safari theme so the fabric we found was PERFECT!

Stinky Feet

My friend Michelle's daughter Hailee and I have this random game we play of stinky feet. I smell her toes and yell, "Pee Yoouuu!" while she laughs like crazy. Maybe you have to be there. Anyway, we took a few pics of washing stinky feet in the bathroom sink. Also, my son Casey was hired by a neighbor to do some errands and laundry because he couldn't do those things for himself. We made a day of it shopping, eating, etc. Hailee had such a ball at the laundry place. There are a couple pics from the days festivities...
